![]() ![]() I have two 3-ship convoys on this route and it runs a round trip of about 25 daysįrom there I load the meat on every other route, and I do not let any other routes load meat in Cumana, or buy it anywhere else. I produce corn in the Crooked Islands with a load order of 800, send it to Cumana with an unload order of 800 and then a load order of 800 meat, then finish in my main city of Turks with an unload order of 800 meat. What I do is typically only have one city producing all of that commodity, like right now in my regional distribution game, Cumana provides all of the meat for my routes. It would be nice if the devs showed us what the trade route "thinks" the demand is so we could fine tune it I would think it does, but again I’d have to test more. I’m not sure if the warehouse provisioning other trade routes is taken into account for the warehouse part of that equation. Reading some of the info in game suggests that the automatic option takes into account the need of the city, warehouse, and businesses in the destination port. Honestly, there’s no big trick except to manually tweak the numbers of what you’re sending to your hub. ![]() I guess i just think like what would be expensive to do and important to the game, like a priority list.īut thanks to you mate now my warehouse head aches have gone away im actually loving this game. Port Royale 4 Set sail and join the colonial powers of Spain, England, France and the Netherlands in their fight for supremacy of the Caribbean in the 17th century. I dont do the tasks for the Viceroy if it means I need to transport people from A-B because even a small trip is very expensive (sailor wages) let alone one from Port Royale to say Gtown or even New Orleans. I also i look at my overall income statements alot making sure im positive everywhere EXCEPT for commodities going to the Viceroy, which really as long as im not going backwards drastically (cause of that Route) I dont mind really. I start with one town at a time, then which ever town has the most routes going in/out + the highest jobseeker OR general population gets new buildings and most of my focus I use playable character "the merchant" so I can trade during wartime, which also means I dont need Captains to have blockade runner(?) Least important is cotton or chocolate depending on availability. I make sure I have at least 3/4 commodities going to my viceroy. Then another in a different convoy and so on until I have 10 Captains training. I get one captain at a time training (leveling up) I use "trader fluyts" once I have enough income and enough routes with positive returns Hahah na, im no expert i just use the fastest boats on the longest routes the wind makes very little difference in my opinion. ![]()
